Klaus was so in love with Stefan. SO IN LOVE. And Stefan will not even give him an inch. Like, I’m surprised Stefan hasn’t just started playing Destiny’s Child’s “Bug a Boo” whenever Klaus talks to him.
Klaus is always like, “Best friends, ex-friends to the end, better off as lovers.”
And Stefan is pretty much always saying, “Ugh, it was almost 100 years ago. I was mixing blood types so much, I don’t even remember that decade. You could’ve been anybody. Get over it.”

I like how this scene was probably there to show us Damon and Alaric’s friendship but in the end it just makes you think they’re fucking.
