Last night Katie and I saw Rihanna at the United Center. It was even more spectacular than I expected. She is a phenomenal, commanding performer, and thematically the show was much more militaristic, apocalyptic, and dark than I thought it would be, and therefore it resonated with me strongly. This tour is over now but if you ever have the chance to see Rihanna you should run, not walk. I’m so very glad I went.
